Lucknow: Google has removed a road that led to a damaged river bridge in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district after three persons died when their vehicle, following the Google Map instructions, plunged into the river a few days back.
The victims were on their way to attend a marriage ceremony when their vehicle fell into the Ramganga river on Sunday.
According to the sources, the police also questioned an official of Google in this regard though the details of the questioning were not revealed.
District officials said that the road leading to the bridge would no longer be seen on Google Map and it has been removed from the app.
