New Delhi: Prices of petrol and diesel were increased Wednesday for the 14th time since March 22 this year. With the new surge, total increase in the price of petrol and diesel now stands at Rs 10. In the national capital Delhi, petrol and diesel prices surged by 80 paise, reported news agency ANI.
As per the new tariffs, petrol will now cost Rs 105.41 per litre in the national capital, as compared to Rs 104.61 per litre on Tuesday.
In the financial capital Mumbai, petrol price Wednesday breached Rs 120 and is being sold at Rs 120.51 per litre, an increase of 84 paise from last day when it cost Rs 119.67 per litre.
Diesel price in Mumbai too, shot up to Rs 104.77 per litre, which is an increase of 85 paise from Rs 103.92 per litre on Tuesday.
