Despite being within the warranty period, Marwar Motors allegedly charged the farmer for each repair. When the tractor broke down for the fifth time, a frustrated Jeetu parked it outside the agency and set it ablaze
In a shocking incident in Rajasthan’s Dholpur, a farmer set his tractor on fire outside the Marwar Motor Agency, the dealership from which he had purchased it. The farmer, frustrated with persistent issues with the tractor, reportedly paid for repairs four times despite it being under warranty.
According to sources, Jeetu, son of Bhikam Singh Thakur and a resident of Dholpur district, bought a new tractor from the Marwar Motors’ Dholpur agency around one-and-a-half years ago. However, the tractor suffered constant malfunctions like damage in the clutch plate, emitting black smoke, and engine issues.
