Generations of Newcastle United fans have waited for silverware but that finally came to an end on Sunday when the Magpies beat Liverpool 2-1 in the Carabao Cup final to win their first major domestic trophy in 70 years.
After Dan Burn opened the score in the first half, Alexander Isak made it 2-0 in the second half.
Isak has now scored 27 goals in 37 appearances for club and country this season, equalling his best-ever single-season tally he set in 2023/24 (27 goals in 46 apps).
