29 of the 32 nations headed to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup have been finalised. These 32 teams will be classified into eight groups who will compete for the World Cup in November. The draw to decide these groups is on Friday at the host nation in Doha, Qatar.

The teams are divided into four pots based on the FIFA ranking. Pot 1 will have the hosts Qatar seven of the highest-ranked qualified teams. Pot 2 has the next eight highest-ranked qualified teams, Pot 3 will contain the eight highest-qualified after that, and Pot 4 will comprise the five best-ranked teams after that and placeholders representing the two winners of the intercontinental playoffs and the remaining European playoff winner.
Pot 4: Cameroon, Canada, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Wales/Scotland/Ukraine, Costa Rica/New Zealand, Peru/UAE/Australia.
