There seems to be no end to Diljit Dosanjh’s troubles amid his ongoing Dil-Luminati tour. Days after the Punjabi singer-actor performed in Chandigarh, it has now been reported that the organisers of the show have been accused of violating noise-level restrictions.
As reported by The Tribune, the noise level during Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in the Union Territory exceeded the 75-decibel limit – which was mandated by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Reportedly, the decibel limit at the concert ranged between 76.1 and 93.1. Reportedly, a notice is now likely to be issued to the organisers and the administration is planning to recommend a penalty for them, which can be Rs 15 lakh for the violation.
Ever since Diljit Dosanjh kicked off his Dil-Luminati tour in India, the singer has been facing several issues. At first, the Punjabi singer-actor received a notice from the Telangana government which asked him not to sing songs at the event that promote alcohol, drugs or violence during his Hyderabad show.
Later, no alcohol was served at Diljit Dosanjh’s Pune concert. Following this, no alcohol or meat was served at the singer’s Indore show following the protests by Bajrang Dal.
Therefore, during his Chandigarh show on December 14, Diljit announced that he would not host a concert in India again until the government improved the concert infrastructure in India.
