The deputy ruler of UAE’s Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, died on Thursday. He was the younger brother of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former National Security Advisor of the UAE and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

In its statement, the Presidential Court extended condolences and sympathies on the death of Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, praying to Allah Almighty to shower the deceased with His vast mercy, grant him eternal paradise and provide his family and relatives with patience and solace.
Mourning his death, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, said in a statement that Sheikh Hazza was “a wise leader and a true friend.”
