Cardi B has a baby on the way!
The rapper confirmed in a Thursday Instagram post that she is pregnant with her third baby, hours after news broke of her filing for divorce from estranged husband Offset.
She referenced the split in her baby bump debut, writing, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”
Cardi continued, “You’ve reminded me that I never have to
choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!” she concluded.
In the glamorous social media upload, the expectant star showed off her budding belly in a plunging red gown and matching coat.
Cardi, 31, sparked pregnancy speculation in June after her stomach strained against a buttoned black blazer onstage at the Inspiration Awards.
Two weeks prior, she covered her belly in a pink sweatsuit while hosting an event.
She and Offset previously welcomed daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2, in July 2018 and September 2021, respectively.
The Migos member, 32, is also the father of three children from previous romances — Jordan, 14, Kody, 9, and Kalea, 9.
Cardi has been a “blessing” to her stepkids since she wed Offset in September 2017, he gushed to Essence five years later.
“[She’s] open and treats them as if they’re her kids,” he said in the April 2022 interview. “It could be an issue, but I don’t have to go through that, and that’s beautiful.”
One year after the rappers secretly tied the knot, Cardi said they had “[grown] out of love” while announcing their breakup.
By 2019, the duo were back together — only for the Grammy winner to file for divorce in September of the following year.
They kissed and made up the following month but called it quits again in 2023 after accusing each other of cheating.
