Earlier in March, a Delhi man allegedly posed as a policeman and duped people saying “he can get them cars and mobile phones at very low prices at an auction at a Delhi court’s premises.” In the Bollywood movie, group of cons pose as CBI officers and carry out bogus raids to loot politicians and businessmen. When the real CBI officers learn about this gang, they come up with a plan to catch them red-handed. Similarly in this case, the man, identified as Ayub Khan, would claim to be a crime branch officer and would take money at the court premises before fleeing. He has been arrested.
