Bill Gates on Tuesday (Pacific Standard Time) tweeted that he was experiencing mild symptoms and had tested positive for Covid.

In a further tweet, Gates expressed his gratitude saying he “was fortunate to be vaccinated and boosted and have access to testing and great medical care.”
This development comes just hours before the Gates Foundation was meeting physically for the first time in two years since the pandemic. Gates said that he would be joining them virtually and said, “I am lucky to be on Teams to see everyone and thank them for their hard work.”
“We will continue working with partners and do all we can to ensure none of us have to deal with a pandemic again,” he added.
