A labourer from Bihar’s Chhapra has become a millionaire overnight. Anand Kushwaha from Parsa in Ekma block in Bihar experienced a windfall thanks to the internet. While the internet offers numerous opportunities and risks, for Anand, it brought an unexpected fortune.
Facing financial struggles, Anand moved to Bangalore to work as a labourer. His mother, Dhanesara Devi, still works in others’ fields, and his father, Raja Ram Kushwaha, sells vegetables to support the family. The family lives in a three-room house without a proper roof, surviving in dire conditions.
Despite these hardships, Anand’s fortune changed dramatically when he won Rs 1 crore on Dream11, an online gaming platform he had been playing for the past two years. Initially, Anand kept his participation in Dream11 a secret, especially after losing Rs 22,000. However, upon winning the substantial amount, he immediately informed his father.
