The Ram Temple in Ayodhya received a bomb threat via email on Monday night, with the police revealing that an “individual from Tamil Nadu wrote the email in English”, as per a report.
Security arrangements have been stepped up at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir after a bomb threat was emailed to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust late Monday night. Vigilance was heightened across the temple complex, as well as in Barabanki and neighbouring districts. An FIR has been registered at the cyber police station in Ayodhya, with officials confirming that the cyber cell is investigating the matter.
PTI reported that the police have so far refrained from revealing other details, except that “an individual from Tamil Nadu wrote the email in English”.
Neither the Ram Temple Trust nor the security agencies have released an official statement so far.
