Anant and Radhika’s wedding is scheduled for July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, following grand pre-wedding celebrations and a mass wedding event for over 50 underprivileged couples
After two grand pre-wedding festivities and a ‘Samuh Vivah’, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are finally set to tie the knot on July 12. The wedding ceremony will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. Back in May, news agency ANI shared a picture of Anant and Radhika’s wedding invitation card on its official handle, creating a buzz among their fans and well-wishers.
On July 2nd, the Ambanis organized a ‘Samuh Vivah’ (mass wedding) for more than 50 underprivileged couples from Palghar. This heartwarming event saw each bride receiving gold ornaments such as Mangalsutra, wedding rings, and nose rings, along with silver items like toe rings and anklets. In addition, each bride was presented with a cheque of Rs. 1.01 lakh as her ‘streedhan’, symbolizing her personal assets. The couples were also gifted essential groceries, household items for a year, appliances, and bedding essentials, ensuring they had a solid start to their married lives.
The schedule for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding is packed with traditional and celebratory events. On July 12, the main ceremonies will commence with the auspicious Shubh Vivah, or wedding function. Guests are requested to wear traditional Indian attire for the main wedding ceremony, adding to the cultural richness of the event. On July 13, the Shubh Aashirwad, or divine blessings ceremony, will take place with a dress code of Indian formal. The celebrations will conclude on July 14 with the Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception, where the dress code is Indian chic.
The pre-wedding festivities have been nothing short of spectacular. In Jamnagar, performances by international superstars like Rihanna and Akon entertained the guests. During the cruise celebrations, the Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli delivered mesmerizing performances. According to a recent report by India Today, the upcoming Mumbai wedding celebrations might feature performances by Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey. Negotiations are currently underway to finalize the dates for these artists’ performances, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
