An email, which was sent by an unidentified person to the official ID of the GNLU registrar on Sunday evening, claimed a bomb had been placed in the campus of Gujarat National Law University.
The email, which was sent by an unidentified person to the official ID of the GNLU registrar on Sunday evening, claimed a bomb had been placed in the campus, Deputy Superintendent of Police RI Desai said.
Police today informed that the threat email turned out to be a hoax as nothing was found on the premises of the university. Cops are now looking for the person who sent the threat email and said an action will be taken as soon as the accused is nabbed.
Deputy SP Gandhinagar RR Desai said, “Yesterday a bomb threat mail was received on the official mail of the GNLU (Gujarat National Law University) registrar mail…Soon after receiving the information, the police team reached the university and along with the dog squad a search was conducted at the university…Nothing was recovered, and our technical team is working we will soon find the person who sent this mail and action will be taken against him…”
